The exhibition presents 176 photographs from the Margulies Collection archives of master street photographer Helen Levitt. On view are works from her New York street scenes, First Proofs, Graffiti, trip to Mexico City with Alma Agee and Subway portrait series she made with Walker Evans in 1938. In addition to the Levitt photographs are three Walker Evans Subway Portraits and In the Street, a 16mm film Levitt made with James Agee and Janice Loeb in 1948.
